The location was perfect. i walked easily from the atocha station (it was very convenient). check-in was smooth, and pablo at the front desk was excellent. he allowed us complimentary early check-in, as our room was ready upon arrival. i also enjoyed the gym. The staff was helpful when i wanted to use it.

The hotel's location is convenient (right across from the Prado Museum).

I paid quite a bit for a room, and I had a few disappointments. The bed linens felt very synthetic and uncomfortable. The breakfast was not peaceful. The room was small, crowded and noisy. The staff was clearing tables very loudly right next to me.

javier, a lovely gentleman, checked us in late. he was efficient and had a great manner. i asked for fresh milk for tea and received not only milk but also a tasty cookie and apple pie (i really liked that gesture). customer service was fantastic and location was excellent. the breakfast prepared me for the day ahead.

the noise from staff moving trolleys around the corridors was audible early morning and late evening. i could also hear some street noise during those times.

the hotel provides a spa, with a relaxing end to a long day of walking. it also has a gym, though i did not have the opportunity to use it myself. the front desk offers maps and tourist information.
